ENT surgeon attends Dubai meet

Noted ENT surgeon S.K.E. Appa Rao took part as guest speaker in the Middle East Update in Otolaryngology conference held in Dubai last week.

He spoke on ‘controversies in middle ear surgery’ at the conference organised by the prestigious American Academy of Continuing Medical Education on Friday.

The discussion was regarding management of Otitis media with effusion and avoiding the surgery.

Dr. Appa Rao said some 550 delegates from all over the world attended the conference and two others from India – P.S.N. Murthy and Dwarakanath Reddy – also participated.
