Shastri Club in quarterfinals

NEW DELHI: Fine knocks by Jaladh Dua (69) and Saleem Ansari (47) enabled Shastri Club beat Pahari Dhiraj Club by 72 runs and enter the quarterfinals of the 15th Shera Pandit memorial SP Trophy cricket tournament at the Mohan Meakin ground.

The scores: Shastri Club 189 for nine in 40 overs (Jaladh Dua 69, Saleem Ansari 47, Amit Malwal three for 32, Neeraj Bansal three for 36) bt Pahari Dhiraj 117 in 25.2 overs (Karan Bhola 34, Bhupender Lingwal 30, Harsh Kumar three for 17, Faimuddin Khan three for 22).
