Fishermen not to venture into sea for a month

PUDUKOTTAI: Fishermen in the coastal parts of the district have been advised not to venture for fishing using mechanised boats and trawling nets from April 29 to May 29, both days inclusive.

Precaution

An official press release issued here on Wednesday said that the precautionary measure was aimed at conserving the marine wealth in the coastal regions of the state.
