Worker dies

CHENNAI: A worker engaged in welding work in a factory in Ambattur Industrial Estate died in a fire accident on Thursday.

The police said that when Christopher (28) of Pillayar Koil Street, Poonamallee, was welding an empty oil barrel, the accident occurred. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.
