Metrowater open house tomorrow

CHENNAI: Chennai Metrowater will conduct open house meetings at all its area offices and adjacent urbanised area office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

According to a release, the meeting would provide an opportunity to the consumers to voice their complaints regarding water supply and sewage disposal.

They could also clarify their doubts pertaining to water and sewerage taxes and water charges at the meetings.

The area offices are: Area I - Kodungaiyur and Tondiarpet; Area II - Royapuram and Washermenpet; Area III - Perambur and Vysarpadi; Area IV - Kilpauk and Ayanavaram; Area V - Anna Nagar and Mogappair; Area VI - Chepauk and Triplicane, Area VII - Chetpet and Nungambakkam; Area VIII - T.Nagar and Kodambakkam, Area IX - Saidapet and Kotturpuram; Area X A - Alwarpet and Mylapore; and Area-X B- Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur and Velachery.

The adjacent urbanised office for Mogappair East/West and Anna Nagar Extension I and II is located on T.S.Krishna Nagar Main Road, Mogappair. The release said that 88 complaints were received regarding water supply and sewage removal during the open house meeting held in March.

While 80 complaints have been rectified, measures to solve eight complaints are under progress.
