CIL pays dividend to Government

KOLKATA: Coal India (CIL) paid the highest-ever dividend of Rs. 1,705.40 crore to the Government which constitutes 27 per cent of the paid-up equity of CIL. The cheque was handed over to the new Minister for Coal, Santosh Bagrodia by the Chairman of CIL, P. S. Bhattacharyya. — Special Correspondent
