Pollution response exercise

Kakinada: The Indian Coast Guard is conducting a pollution response exercise off the Kakinada coast in the morning of April 15. An advance patrol vessel, an offshore patrol vessel, two fast patrol vessels, two Dornier aircraft are being deployed to demonstrate the capabilities of different types of pollution response equipment held by the Coast Guard. Representatives of various oil and gas agencies are also participating in the exercise, according to Coast Guard officials. Staff Reporter
