Process under way, says Mana Party APCC chief hails apex court order HYDERABAD: The Mana Party has claimed that the AP Congress Committee president D. Srinivas had hinted at the Andhra Pradesh Government’s move to shift Mudiraj community from Backward Class ‘D’ to ‘A’ group. The process was under way, the Mana Party informed in a press release, quoting Mr. Srinivas as saying at a function to present merit awards to Mudiraj community students here on Sunday. Mr. Srinivas hailed the judgement of the Supreme Court on upholding reservations for the OBCs in institutions of higher learning. Mana Party president and MLC Kasani Gyaneshwar said he founded the party for the development of SC, ST, BC and minorities.
