Cancer awareness and screening camp

A cancer awareness and screening camp was organised by the South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, Hyderabad division, at South Lallaguda Railway Colony here on Saturday. According to a press release issued here on Sunday, the camp, which was organised as part of Railway Week, had the participation of doctors from Railways, Yashoda Hospital, Indo American Cancer Research Institute and MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Research Centre. Two mobile vans equipped with facilities for mammography, X ray and Ultrasound were also deployed at the camp.
