Murder: CBI files FIR before court

KOCHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday filed a FIR before the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in a case relating to the murder of Fasal, a worker of National Democratic Front (NDF), in Thalassery on October 22, 2006. The CBI had taken over the investigation on a directive from the High Court. The CBI has not mentioned the names of the accused in the FIR. —Special Correspondent
