TDP on agitation mode over Babli

HYDERABAD: Decrying the ‘lackadaisical’ attitude of the State government in opposing the construction of 12 irrigation projects, including Babli on Godavari by Maharashtra, the Telugu Desam Party has decided to launch a Statewide agitation.

Stating that the Maharashtra government was violating the Supreme Court direction, the party on Tuesday had organised a video footage for media on the construction work of these projects along the course of Godavari. The TDP Legislature Party secretary E. Dayakar Rao and others flayed the Government’s inaction in lodging a strong complaint to the Centre against the ongoing construction work.
