Jeweller robbed by unidentified men

NEW DELHI: Three unidentified men allegedly robbed a jeweller of several lakhs of rupees in cash in addition to gold and silver jewellery at Rohini here on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the men armed with a country-made pistol entered Rohini Jewellers in Sector 8 around 9 p.m. and asked the jeweller, Rakesh Singal, to hand over the cash and jewellery.

The robbers then made off with the cash and valuables on a scooter. When the jeweller and his servant gave chase, the robbers fired in the air to scare them away, the police said. No one was injured.
