Chittoor: Municipal Commissioner Charles Umapathi said that the government sanctioned Rs. 4.22 crore to Chittoor Municipality under the Integrated Housing Construction and Slum Development scheme. Talking to media persons here on Wednesday he said that central and state governments were releasing the funds to local bodies for implementing developmental works in their areas. -Correspondent
