Rawat scores match-winner

NEW DELHI: Yajuvender Rawat struck the match-winner as Central Secretariat defeated Urban Development Ministry 1-0 in the DSA institutional football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday.

In another match, Indian Airlines scored a 2-1 victory over Delhi Development Authority (DDA) following goals by Mahender and Rajiv. Ankit reduced the margin for DDA.

All-India Institute of Medical Sciences came from behind to hold Airports Authority of India to a 1-1 draw. Rattan put Airports Authority in the lead, while Arun Kumar restored parity for AIIMS.

There will be no match on Friday owing to Mahavir Jayanti and the league will resume on Saturday.
