Hyderabad: Sabatini Ankaraju beat P. Sudheera 6-2, 6-0 in the girls under 14 semi finals of the A.K. Arjun memorial AITA talent series tennis tournament sponsored by Bolton School here on Thursday.

The results (U-14 girls semifinals): Sabatini Ankaraju bt P. Sudheera 6-2, 6-0; Sambhavani Dixit bt Nayanika Reddy 3-6, 6-4, 7-5. U-12: Nayanika Reddy bt P. Sudheera 6-4, 6-3; Sambahvani Dixit bt Moulika Ram 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. U-10: Harshitha Rao bt S. Shivani 6-0; Raveena Reddy bt Vedatri 6-1. Babu Rao to be coach

N. Babu Rao, secretary of Hyderabad District Powerlifting Association, as been named as the Indian coach for the Asian championship for men and women to be held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from May 1 to 6. The national team will attend a coaching camp in Delhi from April 18 to 29 before leaving for the above event.
