School reopening

KOCHI: In view of the likely shortage of ships in the last week of May, the schools in Lakshadweep will reopen on May 20, instead of June 1. The director of education of the Lakshadweep Administration, in a press release, asked teachers and students to book their tickets on available ships well in advance so that they could reach the schools on May 20. — Special Correspondent
