Hindi-Kannada bhai bhai

Bangalore: In an attempt to build connections between Indian languages, the Kamala Goenka Foundation is presenting an award to a work of translation from Hindi to Kannada. It is also holding a poets’ meet by roping in the best names in Hindi literature on Sunday.

The award will be awarded to Tippeswamy for his translated work Amruta mattu Visha. V. Venkatesh will get the Goenka Hindi Sahitya Saraswat Samman Award. The event, at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, starts at 4 p.m.
