Woman immolates herself

NAMAKKAL: A woman immolated herself in her house in Paramathi Velur on Friday.

Police said Mohana Sundari (21) of Pothanur poured kerosene on her and set herself afire.

Succumbs

Her neighbours rescued the woman and rushed her to Namakkal Government Hospital, where she succumbed.

A case was registered.
