REPALLE (GUNTUR DT.): The Medical and Cultural Association (MCA) has organised an awareness camp in partnership with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development of the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP), the Dr. Reddy’s Foundation’s Livelihoods Advancement Business School and the D. Rama Naidu Vignana Jyothi Institute of Rural Development . The camp was held at Sri Guttikonda Lakshminarayana Community Hall. Association secretary V. Prakash Rao said that the camp was held to create awareness about various short-term training programmes in skill development leading to self-employment opportunities or jobs to the beneficiaries. The programme had been designed to help women and youth, school dropouts, underprivileged and the unemployed. More than 150 beneficiaries, most of them women, participated in the session and some 75 of them filled applications for the courses/institutes of their choice.
