CHENNAI: Annamalai University Chemistry professor R.T. Sabapathy Mohan has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli for the next three years.

In 2004, Mr. Mohan contested the Chennai North Lok Sabha seat as a candidate of the MDMK, but was defeated by DMK nominee S. Kuppusamy. — Special Correspondent
