Chandigarh: With the amount of cricket being played these days, it is bound to take a toll on the fitness of cricketers, whose active career may reduce from 10 to 15 to 4 to 5 years, feels former Indian all-rounder Roger Binny. “With so much cricket being played, it has already started taking its toll on players’ fitness. Earlier, a player could play for his country anywhere between 10 to 15 years or more, but now that is going to change,” Binny told reporters on Sunday. — PTI © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
