Minister’s call to people

Rural Water Supply Minister Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao on Sunday said that the laying of foundation stone for Bandar Port would be a historic event in Krishna district.

The Minister urged people to make the stone-laying function, to be held on April 23, successful.

Mr. Venkateswara Rao reviewed the arrangements of the function, in which Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy would be the chief guest, with Animal Husbandry Minister Mandali Buddha Prasad and a few officials here.

Mr. Prasad said that the port was a dream for the people of the district for the last five decades.
