CPI (M) plea on liquor shops

The Vijayawada city unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Sunday urged the State government not to allow liquor shops in residential areas.

Party city unit secretary R. Raghu, in a statement issue here, said that it was unfortunate on the part of the Communist Party of India leaders to criticise the CPI (M) leaders for raising the issue of liquor shops.
