VSPL sets record

Vizag Seaport Pvt. Ltd (VSPL) has created a new record by loading 30,800 tonnes of iron ore in 24 hours. The operation ended at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

A VSPL release said the iron ore was loaded into merchant vessel Tai Chung at EQ 9 berth. The entire operation involving receipt of cargo, storing, feeding to hook point and loading into the vessel was accomplished by VSPL’s own logistic facilities. The export was done on behalf of Bharat Earth Movers Limited.
