Man killed as lorry hits motorbike

KARUR: A young man was killed and his daughter suffered injuries when a lorry hit the motorbike they were riding at Gandhigram near here on Monday. T. Karthikeyan (30) was taking his daughter Lokeswari (3) home back from the school when a lorry hit his motorbike crushing him to death on the spot.

The child suffered minor injuries and was treated at a private hospital here.

The body of Karthikeyan was later removed to the Government Hospital here for post mortem.
