MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange sensitive index closed virtually flat in choppy trade on Thursday. The Sensex oscillated in a small range amid mixed signs from global bourses. However, IT shares attracted good buying interest for the second consecutive day. Infosys Technologies was up 2.86 per cent, Satyam Computer 2.06 per cent and Wipro 1.46 per cent. The Sensex settled at 16721.08, a rise of 23.04 points against 16698.04 on Wednesday. The index touched a low of 16668.60.
