Financial closure of Mundra power project

MUMBAI: Tata Power on Thursday said it had arranged funds for the Rs. 17,000-crore Ultra Mega Power Project (UMPP) at Mundra in Gujarat. A consortium of banks, including leading multilateral agencies, is participating in financing of this project. The project consists of five units, each of 800 MW which will generate saleable power of 3,800 MW.
