Olympian Bawa passes away

Chandigarh: Hockey Olympian Tarlochan Bawa died at his daughter’s residence at Ambala on Thursday, his family said. He was 85 and leaves behind two daughters and a son.

Bawa, who was a member of the Indian team led by Balbir Singh which won the gold in the 1948 London Olympics. — PTI
