Team arrives

ALAPPUZHA: A three-member team of the Medical Council of India (MCI) arrived at T.D. Medical College and Hospital (TDMCH), Vandanam, here on Friday to evaluate its staff strength and infrastructure availability based on a proposal to add 50 seats to the college’s existing strength of 100 seats. The team comprising J.B. Hatikar, Mahesh Gupta and S. Mahadevan, is expected to complete its visit by Saturday and submit a report to the MCI later.— Staff Reporter
