NEW DELHI: The Central Election Committee of the BJP, which met here on Thursday with party president Rajnath Singh in the chair, finalised candidates for one Lok Sabha byelection in Himachal Pradesh, one Assembly seat in Andhra Pradesh and three in Haryana. Anurag Singh Thakur will be the candidate for the Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh. In Andhra Pradesh, D. Laxman will contest for the Musheerabad Assembly. The candidates for the three seats in Haryana are: Ram Kumar Arya (Indri Assembly segment), Pradeep Sangwan (Gohana) and Swami Raghavnand (Adampur). © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
