Sharp rise in MRF’s profit

CHENNAI: MRF has reported a total income of Rs. 1,220.24 crore in the three months ended March 31, 2008 against Rs. 1,087.15 crore in the same period a year-ago. The net profit after taxation at Rs. 65.62 crore against Rs. 35.74 crore.

The company has been ranked highest in customer satisfaction with original equipment tyres in India by J. D. Power Asia Pacific 2008.
