PALAKKAD: Three persons were found dead on the railway track at Kadumthuruthy near Olavakkode railway station here late on Friday night. One body was identified as that of Giteesh, 22, son of Mohanan, Elanjikovil house, near Pulappatta in the district. The two other bodies were not identified. The unidentified bodies were that of a woman aged 45 years, and of a middle-aged man. The bodies were found by railway gang men on duty inspecting the track. Railway authorities and the police are investigating the case to find out whether the deaths were due to an accident or whether it was a case of suicide. The railway police said the deaths took place at two different times and in two locations nearby. The body of the two men were found at a distance of 500 metres while the body of the woman was found a little further away. The bodies were removed from the track but kept in the area as they could be removed from the scene only in the morning after an inquest.
