Relay hunger strike by DLB union

The relay hunger strike launched by the Visakhapatnam Dock Labour Board and Dock Workers’ Union entered second day on Saturday. D.K. Sarma, honorary president of the union, took part in the first day’s strike to press for merger of the Dock Labour Board with the Visakhapatnam Port Trust and absorbing of 347 master list candidates selected for appointment as casual labour a year ago.
