‘Harassed’ girl’s kin beaten up

NEW DELHI: Three young men beat up a relative of a girl in Seelampur on Saturday when the latter protested against their harassing her.

According to the police, Shahid had been stalking a girl of New Seelampur for the past few months and recently proposed to her. When the girl told her family about harassment by Shahid, her brother asked the accused to mend his ways.

On Saturday, Shahid along with his friends came to the girl’s house and allegedly beat up her uncle. They reportedly fired in the air before fleeing.
