Former SP leader joins LJP

New Delhi: Former Samajwadi Party MLA Kasim Ali on Saturday joined Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) headed by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.

Welcoming him into the party fold, Mr. Paswan said this would strengthen the organisation in U.P.

Mr. Ali had contested the 1996 Lok Sabha elections on SP ticket but had lost.
