VIASKHAPATNAM: Andhra University will conduct a special drive examination for the students of PG and professional courses, from July 23 on its campus here. The students who were admitted from 1996-97 to 2003-04 in B.L., L.L.B. (OR and NR three and five year courses), M.A., M.Com., M.B.A., M.H.R.M., M.Sc., M.Ed., M.C.A., M.Sc.(CS), M.Sc.(IS) and B.E. and B. Tech. courses, both year-end and semester methods, for which the transitory provision had already expired but are yet to complete their courses or seeking improvement in marks can appear for the special drive examination, informed Controller of Examinations K. Samrajyalakshmi. Candidates who have registered and appeared under the private appearance method are also eligible to appear for the special drive examination. Examination feeThe examination fee is Rs.3,000 for a paper and Rs.8,000 for the whole examination. The betterment fee is Rs.500 in addition to the examination fee. All special drive examinations will be conducted in the AU campus only and there is no provision for revaluation of answer papers. The examination application form can be downloaded from the AU website and an additional amount of Rs.20 has to be paid towards registration fee along with the examination fee. The filled in application forms along with the required fees has to breach the office of the Controller of Examinations through the Principal of the college where the candidate has studied last, on or before June 26. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
