Held for murder

CHENNAI: Police arrested one person on Monday in connection with the alleged murder of 19-year-old youth Kartik of Aminjikarai in his friend’s house at Seeranipuram near Kodambakkam High Road on Saturday night.

Following a complaint from Kartik’s parents , the Aminjikarai police registered a case. The police found a youth dead in a locked house in Seeranipuram and identified him as Kartik.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (T. Nagar) S. Lakshmi said that a special team arrested Paranthaman in connection with the murder. The police are on the look-out for another person.
