Teachers stage dharna

VIZIANAGARAM: Teachers, affiliated to UTF, on Tuesday staged a dharna at the DEO office demanding suspension of G.L. Puram Mandal Educational Officer Durga Prasad. Federation secretary D. Ramu alleged that the MEO was responsible along with three teachers for irregularities in mid-day meal scheme. They called off protest after Y. Balaiah, DEO, informed them that the issue was pending before the Regional Joint Director.
