CHENNAI: The National Agro Foundation will conduct summer training on plant tissue culture in May and June this year. A release from the National Agro Foundation said class schedules would be flexible based on the needs of the students. The programme included training and project work, with a duration of two weeks and 10 weeks respectively. The institute has completed two weeks’ training for 34 candidates and a month-long project for 15 students successfully. The Plant Tissue Culture lab in the National Agro Foundation R and D Centre, is functioning at the Centre of Biotechnology campus, Anna University, Taramani, for micro-propagation research and training, the release added. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
