Gagan maintains lead

GREATER NOIDA: Gagan Verma shot a second successive round of four-under 68 to maintain his two-shot lead at the halfway stage of the LG Jaypee Open amateur golf championship at the Jaypee Greens golf course here on Wednesday.

Gagan’s bogey-free card gave him a tally of 136. Rahul Bajaj moved to the second spot with the day’s best card of 67.
