Rushmi forced to a second-set tie-breaker Yu Min-Hwa and Parul Goswami also advance ANGAMALY: Kelsey Sundaram found her groove at the ITF Federal Bank international women’s tournament here on Wednesday, crushing eighth-seeded Julia Matojan of Estonia 6-1, 6-0 with surprising ease to enter the quarterfinals. “This is my first quarterfinal in the senior ITF circuit, my best tournament,” said Kelsey. A couple of hours before that, she completed her first-round match, a three-setter which was stopped last evening owing to bad light. Meanwhile, top-seeded Rushmi Chakravarthi was forced to a second-set tie-breaker by Hyderabad’s Geeta Manohar before progressing to the quarterfinals, while third-seeded Korean Yu Min-Hwa and Parul Goswami, the fifth seed, also made the grade.
