Ridhi bags cadet girls’ title

BANGALORE: The top seed, Ridhi Rohit of Mysore bagged the cadet girls’ title beating her club-mate and second seed Shivani Poovaiah 12-10, 14-12, 11-4 in the final of the EBF State-ranking table tennis championship at Malleswaram Association Hall here on Friday.

Earlier in the semifinals, Ridhi Rohit beat S. Anjana of Star TT Academy 11-8, 11-4, 11-4 while Shivani Poovaiah defeated N. Aishwarya of Star TT Academy 11-9, 7-11, 11-9, 11-8.
