Mumbai: The former Indian cricket coach, John Wright, says he would rather look at the brighter side of the Harbhajan Singh-S. Sreesanth spat and feels that while it cannot be condoned, it showed the passion with which the duo plays the game. “What happened between Harbhajan and Sreesanth is what sometimes happens when the enthusiasm and energy gets misdirected,” Wright told the website www.cricketnirvana.com in an interview. “I’d rather let my players have that sense of passion. It’s hard to teach someone how to feel totally committed,” said the New Zealander. — PTI © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
