LONDON: Zenit St. Petersburg routed Bayern Munich on Thursday to reach its first European final, setting up a UEFA Cup title clash with Rangers. Zenit beat four-time European champion and tournament favourite Bayern 4-0 to win its two-legged semifinal 5-1, while Rangers beat Fiorentina 4-2 in a penalty shootout following a 0-0 draw to reach the final in Manchester. The results: semifinals (second leg): Zenit St. Petersburg 4 (Pavel Pogrebnyak 4, 73, Konstantin Zyrianov 39, Viktor Fayzulin 54) bt Bayern Munich 0. Zenit won 5-1 on aggregate.
