Nedumbassery: Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) at the Cochin International Airport have seized counterfeit currency notes of a total of Rs. 20 lakh from a passenger who arrived from Dubai via Colombo in a SriLankan Airlines flight. The notes in the denomination of Rs. 500. The passenger has been identified as Thajuddin from Parappa, Kasaragod. A person named Kamaluddin, who came to receive Thajuddin at the airport, has also been taken into custody.
