BANGALORE: Just a week before the Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party came out with a fresh promise to woo voters. If the party is voted to power, it will review the performance of its government every year to make Karnataka a model State, according to BJP president Rajnath Singh. Addressing a press conference in Bangalore on Sunday, Mr. Singh said the party would leave no stone unturned to usher in an era of comprehensive development in the State and no section of the society would be left untouched. He appealed to the people to provide a clear mandate to the BJP. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
