Teachers’ dharna in Delhi tomorrow

HYDERABAD: About 200 members of AP Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union (PRTU) will take part in the ‘dharna’ before Parliament on May 6 by the Confederation of All-India Teachers’ Organisations to protest ‘objectionable’ provisions of the Education Bill. The union stated that teachers were opposed to sarpanches exercising control over schools. – Special Correspondent
