Merchant hacked to death

Suspected robbers hacked to death a merchant and decamped with his cash bag containing about Rs. 2 lakh here on Sunday.

G. Mathi Mohan (50) of South Gate was found dead with multiple cut injuries on the Gandhi Museum Road. A special team has been formed to investigate the case. Sniffer dogs and fingerprint experts were pressed into service.
