Matree Shree awards presented

New Delhi: Twenty-three news persons were on Sunday awarded the Matree Shree media awards for 2008 for their contribution towards journalism.

Among those chosen for the awards this year are Manoj C G and Manavendra Vashisht (both PTI), Kanak (PTI-Bhasha), Meetali Mohanty Ghosh (UNI), S Abhishek (UNI-Varta) and Avishek Dastidar (Hindustan Times).
