BANGALORE: K.R. Puram police have arrested two persons in connection with house break-in and thefts and have recovered gold jewellery worth Rs. 6 lakh.

The police gave the names of the arrested persons as Chandra (24) and Raja (20).

The police said that the accused were involved in house break-in and thefts in K.R. Puram and Hebbugodi police station limits. The police have also taken into custody Azghar (22) who is accused of buying the stolen valuables.

Suicide

A 18-year-old girl committed suicide here on Saturday reportedly disappointed over scoring less marks in the II PU examination.

The police gave the name of the girl as Sheetal. Though she had passed II PU (Science) examination, she was unhappy that she had scored “very less” marks, her mother Vanitha has said in a complaint.
